I write about where technology meets humanity. I’m drawn to systems of every kind: data engineering most of all, but also neuroscience and economics. I’m currently working on the ways in which mature open source ecosystems like Apache Spark and Apache Iceberg shape agent developer experience, and how these projects evolve over time in the data ecosystem from a technical and social standpoint.
